You don't have to inform us of all the changes in your personal situation. However, there are some we need to know about. Check what you need to arrange for each situation.

What modifies?

I'm moving

We automatically receive your new address in the Netherlands from the municipality. Usually, you don't have to do anything. However, in some situations, it is important to inform us of your new address. Further information is available in Dutch only.

Living together or getting married

You don't need to inform us that you are moving in together or getting married. You can add your partner to your policy through Mijn Zilveren Kruis, if you wanted to. Further information is available in Dutch only.

Pregnant or had a baby?

You do not need to inform us about your pregnancy. If you've given birth, don’t forget to insure your child within 1 month after birth in Mijn Zilveren Kruis. Further information is available in Dutch only.

My collective insurance

Do you have a new job and want to insure yourself through your new employer? Are you leaving your job, you can modify your collective insurance in Mijn Zilveren Kruis. Further information is available in Dutch only.

Turning 18

From the age of 18, a few things change regarding healthcare insurance. There's a good chance that you'll want to modify your insurance or get your own policy. Further information is available in Dutch only.

A loved one has passed away

We receive the death notice through the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP). You do not need to do anything yourself. Further information is available in Dutch only.

Seperating

If you're both listed on the same policy, you can split it so that each of you has your own policy. Further information is available in Dutch only.
