Visiting a doctor abroad is unfortunate; however, you can easily submit the bill online via the Zilveren Kruis app or the claim form. You can also do it by post, whichever is easiest for you.

Unfortunately, this is taking longer than you are used to at the moment as we are receiving more foreign invoices than usual. We apologise for the wait. Our colleagues are doing their utmost to process your claims as soon as possible.
ZelfZorgWijzer app
If you have a question about your health or are worried about something, ask your health-related questions in the ZelfZorgWijzer app. Even if you have doubts whether it's necessary to see a healthcare provider. At home or while travelling, you'll receive advice and assistance whenever and wherever it suits you. More information is available in Dutch only.
Submit by post
Submitting your bills by post is still possible. Download the special claim form (pdf). Send the completed form(s) and medical bill(s) to:
