Pay healthcare costs in instalments

A bill for healthcare costs can sometimes come unexcpetedly and sometimes it's for a large amount, which can be inconvenient. Choose payment of healthcare costs (Zorgkosten Betalen in Delen) in instalments if you want to decide how much you can afford each month. You will pay a fixed amount each month for 12 months and any new bills will be added automatically. We will let you know when that happens.

This is how it works

  • you choose the monthly amount: €25, €50, €75, €100 or €150, depending on the amount of your bill and you start paying when you receive the bill for healthcare costs.
  • Any new bill is automatically add.
  • We will increase the monthly amount if it is too high to pay within 12 months.
  • You can always pay more if you want.
  • You can modify the payment in instalments (Zorgkosten Betalen in Delen) or cancel it at any time.
  • You won't have to pay any extra costs.

Your application succeeds if:

  • you pay by direct debit;
  • we have automatically debited your premium at least once.

You can arrange to pay healthcare costs instalments at any time

You can arrange this even before you've received a bill and the instalments will start from the date we receive the bill. We will let you know when we receive a bill that will be debited in instalments. The overview will show the monthly debit dates. If you've already received a bill and would like to pay it in instalments, your instalments will start from the date you apply.

Modify or pay an extra amount

You can easliy modify the monthly amount in Mijn Zilveren Kruis. If you would like to pay an extra amount or even pay the outstanding amount in full, you can also do that in Mijn Zilveren Kuirs. You could also opt to pay part or the full amount with iDEAL.

Yes, you can and you apply for payment in instalments up to the 3rd reminder.

If you apply to pay healthcare costs in instalments and you are currently on a payment plan, the outsanding amount will automatically be included. You can arrange this directly in Mijn Zilveren Kruis by logging in with DigiD and SMS verification or the DigiD app.

In this case, we will increase your monthly payment amount or work with you we will try to find another option. Please, don't hesitate to contact us.

This is for the payment of the excess, the statutory personal contribution or healthcare costs that are partially reimbursed because the maximum reimbursement has been reached and if you visit a non-contracted care provider.

You will continue to pay the outstanding amount in instalments or you can choose to pay the full amount. Any new bills will no longer be added automatically.

You can pay the outstanding amount in full and then cancel your insurance policy.
