Features of Basis Start
Good news! You can go to any hospital in the Netherlands that we have a contract with — and that’s a lot! So you no longer need to worry about a limited hospital choice.
If you choose a healthcare provider or hospital without a contract, you’ll be reimbursed up to 70% of the average contracted rate.
Some medical aids can be easily ordered online. If you order from a partner supplier, you’ll be fully reimbursed.
Examples include: Optelec for visual aids and Medipoint for mobility aids and in-bed care.
Prefer to order elsewhere? That’s possible too — but in that case, we reimburse up to 70% of the average price we’ve agreed with our suppliers. You’ll pay the rest yourself.
