Modify your insurance package or excess online. These changes will be effective from 1 January of the following calendar year. Online changes can also be made in your personal information, such as phone number or (bank) account number. You don't need to inform us of your new (Dutch) address details or change of general practitioner or dentist. We will receive this automatically.

You will sometimes need authorisation if you wish to arrange payments for someone else.
Moving within the Netherlands? Your municipality will inform us of your new address. Wish to register a (temporary) postal address? Please let us know.
You don’t have to inform us if you are living together or getting married. Wish to register your partner on your policy? Are you getting separated? There are certain things you have to do.
You don’t have to inform us of your pregnancy. But please register your son/daughter within 1 month after giving birth.
You don't have to cancel a deceased's insurance. The Municipal Personal Records Database (Basisregistratie personen (BRP)) will inform us. Would you rather inform us yourself? Then of course you can contact us.
Happy birthday in advance! Maybe you are entitled to healthcare allowance. Handy as from your 18th birthday you will pay insurance premium. Need dental insurance? Then you need to apply.
You can choose on which date we debit your insurance premium. Your available choices are 1st, 24th, or 27th of the month. Are you unable to pay your insurance premium or medical costs? Apply for a payment in instalments.
Log in into Mijn Zilveren Kruis with DigiD and set your digital preferences (in Dutch only). We can then inform you more quickly and we save the environment.
By law, we aren’t allowed to give you information about someone else’s healthcare insurance. We need an authorisation if you wish to do so.
When you move abroad, your Dutch healthcare insurance is often no longer valid. In some cases you can cancel your insurance mid-term.
In Mijn Zilveren Kruis (in Dutch only) you can cancel your supplementary insurance. Has the premium already been debited, then we will pay that back. If we have already reimbursed any medical costs, then you will have to pay that back to us.
Have you applied for a supplementary insurance and do you wish to cancel your application? You can do so within 14 days after receiving your policy document.
You don’t have to inform us of your change in GP, dentist, physiotherapist or pharmacy. We will receive this information from them.
Do contact your previous GP. He can unsubscribe you and send your medical file to your new GP.
You can add everyone who is registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (Basisregistratie personen (BRP)).
