Always submit the bills with the claim form via Mijn Zilveren Kruis or the Zilveren Kruis app. Sumbit via regular mail is also possible.

Frequently asked questions

We prefer to receive bills in Dutch, French, German, English or Spanish. If necessary, we will ask you to have the bill translated by a sworn translator. These costs are not covered.
We use the daily exchange rate that the European Central Bank publishes. We apply the rate of the date on your bill. We reimburse the costs in Euro’s.
Yes, the excess applies to medical costs made abroad reimbursed from the basic insurance. The care provider will give you the bill. Pay it first before submitting it in Mijn Zilveren Kruis. We will calculate the reimbursement you are entitled to. First of all the personal contribution is deducted, then the excess. You will receive the remaining amount.
