Duty of acceptance
Health insurers must accept everyone who applies for basic insurance, irrespective of their age, gender or health. Insurers are not allowed to charge higher premiums based on personal characteristics. You will automatically be accepted for any insurance we offer you.
Standard premiums
Everyone aged 18 or over will pay standard premiums for basic insurance. The premium for the basic package required to be provided by law will be € 96,50 per month (excluding the cost of any supplementary insurance).
Income-based contributions (%)
If you have an income, you will also pay contributions amounting to 6.50% of your income up to a maximum income limit of € 30.000,-. These costs will automatically be refunded in full by your employer. Self-employed people will be sent a payment demand by the tax authorities.
