The Dutch health care system is comprehensive and of a high quality. However, there are differences between hospitals and doctors and as regards waiting lists.
We believe you are entitled to care of the highest standard and we do not think you should have to find that care on your own. We provide a care mediation service which involves us looking for high-quality and readily available care.
Care mediation works as follows:
- Care mediation is available to anyone with a Zilveren Kruis Achmea Beter Af Policy.It means you avoid being put on a waiting list. A referral from your GP is all you need.
- Surf to www.zilverenkruis.nl/zorgbemiddeling (only in Dutch) and fill in the application form. Our staff will then contact you by telephone within two days.
- You will immediately be given care advice tailored to your personal needs. We will help you consider the options which best suit your wishes.
- If you agree to the care advice we offer, we will immediately get to work and make all the necessary arrangements.
